Why I Go to The Gym Six Days A Week.

I will be sharing some of the main reasons why I go to the gym six days a week. Growing up, the primary benefit I heard talked about as a side effect of going consistently to the gym was the gains. While this is a main reason for my endurance, that’s not all of it. So, I hope in this post that I can briefly provide you with some of the other benefits I have discovered as a result of going to the gym.

1. Overall Feelings of lasting Happiness

I can truly say that since I have been going to the gym I have felt better and have been much happier. By saying this I don’t imply the short-term surge of endorphins most people experience after a workout, I mean the happiness that comes from the feeling of accomplishment like “yes I went to the gym despite the odds.” In a way, because of the gym, happiness has become a part of my lifestyle, a part of my lifestyle I truly owe to going to the gym six days a week. While there will always be dark days, overall, by going to the gym six days a week and experiencing the reward of personal achievement from my discipline, my mood is always elevated. I recommend that if any of you struggle with feeling happy, do yourself a favor and hit the gym!!!

2. Building a Productive Lifestyle.

The second reason I go to the gym six days a week is because it forms the cornerstone for all of my other habits. By going to the gym, it not only elevates my happiness, but it drives me to want to achieve more and live a fuller life. By basing my week around working out in the gym I have built other positive habits around it like writing this blog, making more money, and expanding my knowledge about how the world works. Now I am not saying that just by going to the gym positive habits will form in your life, but it definitely will help put you in the right direction to constructing habits worth your while. I would recommend for any of you trying to stay disciplined to start going to the gym on a regular basis, trust me!!!!

3. Strengthening the Mind.

Many studies conducted over the course of time have shown that by consistently exercising and building a lifestyle centered exercise it can elevate one’s mental performance. Some primary reasons as to why this happens is because one’s desire for routine is fulfilled, exercise increases circulation of oxygen to the brain, and self-confidence is elevated with the feeling of achievement. Ultimately, all of these reasons listed above simply free up the mind to think about other things providing room for the expansion of knowledge. Working out has drastically improved my ability to think clearer and the speed at which I can obtain knowledge. Basically, the gym can open up a pathway to make you a more mentally capable person by getting rid of any unnecessary baggage. I can say that I have personally experienced this emptying of baggage and I am in love with the extra mental space.

4. Increase in Energy Output.

Not only does exercise increase my happiness, productivity, and mental strength, but it has elevated my energy to perform other tasks. It is well known that by regularly exercising, that your energy to perform other tasks will as well. Exercising has become my unlimited supply of caffeine to my body that enables me to do what I need to. By feeling all of these benefits from the gym I can thoroughly say that I feel invisible as if I can do anything. This feeling is not mine alone, you can have too if you only keep going to the gym.

5. Looking in the mirror.

Imagine looking in mirror after a year of going to the gym consistently and pulling out your phone to compare yourself to who you were last year and then feeling proud of how far you have come. For me this feeling is what keeps me going and is why I can feel confident around others. I’m constantly on competition with who I was last year, and I must say it is an excellent motivator. So, no matter what I want you to keep working out and compete against who you were last year.

Conclusion.

These are some simple reasons why I go to the gym six days a week and I hope that after reading these brief reasons you will feel inspired to form a lifestyle around the gym as well.
